Intra Company Transferee

The Intra Company Transferee process, as the name indicates is a process where an eligible business transfers their employee to their new entity in Canada on an initial work permit. This is an extremely robust process under one of many Business Immigration to Canada processes.

The process involves establishing a subsidiary of the overseas business and a Robust Business Plan that has to be submitted to the Provincial Government for its approval, once approved, we can apply for the Work Permit. Once granted, the employee, to be transferred, can travel to Canada on work permit and commence the business activities. This visa allows the main applicant to travel with family to Canada.

Once the employee lands in Canada and continues to work for at 1 year, an assessment is conduncted to see if the intended activities have been done as were declared in the initial business plan or no, this also ascertains the probability of work permit extension or application for Canadian PR.
